Brief description: it's an activity that is performed on walls properly equipped by professionals. The activity works in a facilitated manner since the participants will be doing the activity by Top Rope Climbing (where the rope runs from the top of the route) and will be accompanied by two certified monitors. In Fajã do Ouvidor besides the climbing activity our clients will also have the opportunity to go on a journey do discover this Fajã located on the North side of the Island. The climbing activity in the parish of Santo Antão is located in the area of Grotões near Fajã de S. João where clients will also have the opportunity to know this Fajã located on the south side of the island.
Before the activity begins the participants will be provided with the necessary information as well as a small training, followed by the equipment usage rules, essential conditions to ensure safety and a brief description of the training and work experience of the monitors and their collaborators.

Note: The equipment of the participants responsibility should be the following:
• Light and comfortable clothing;
• Walking boots or sneakers;
For the activity each participant is responsible for their snack (for example: sandwich, 1.5L bottle of water, juice, chocolate or dry fruits, fruit...).
*PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) involves: helmets, harnesses, ropes, carabiners, descenders, shunts and other accessories. All of the PPE meet the standards required by the EC (European Commission) and the UIAA (International Climbing and Mountaineering Federation).
